Create model and use it

Create model and use it

Artificial intelligence utilizes models for decision-making. In the case of this application, AI is employed to identify objects in videos. In addition to the pre-installed basic models, users have the option to create custom models for recognizing their own products.

Training a model is a straightforward process that requires a substantial number of example pictures.

Step 1: Capture Images

Tips:

  1. Capture a minimum of 20 pictures for each product intended for training.
  2. Avoid using the same background for these pictures to prevent the model from considering it part of the product.
  3. Opt for a white background for optimal results.
  4. Capture pictures before adding them to the app for a faster workflow.
  5. Consider the simultaneous processing of products on your production line and create models accordingly.

Step 2: Model Creation

  1. Open the Models page and select "Create New Model."

Step 3: Model Naming

  1. Assign a name to your model.

Step 4: Labeling

Step 5: Image Addition

  1. Add pictures to the product by selecting the gallery option.

Step 6: Review Images

  1. Review the pictures associated with the label by clicking the "Show Pictures" button.

Step 7: Model Training

  1. After adding all the desired products, click the "Submit to Train" button. Ensure not to close your phone or open other applications during the uploading process.

Step 8: Model Confirmation

  1. Your model will now appear on the Models page. If it's not visible, refresh the page by returning to the home page and then back to the Models page.

Step 9: Model Queuing

  1. The model is now in the queue on the Machine Learning server for training. The blue button indicates the progress. When it displays "Devices," the model is ready to be used on selected devices. Press the blue button to choose the devices for this model.

Step 10: Device Selection

  1. Select the devices and save your choices.

Step 11: App Activation
